How to request a training guide or one-time consultation for online, hybrid, or face-to-face courses

Email to schedule a consultation or make a request.

In addition to online course development, ELS provides ongoing support for instructors and students in online courses. We also continually seek ways to improve support for academic technologies that are used to help meet learning goals and improve student and instructor experience. Finding time to research or experiment with technology is a challenge. Whether you are looking for a quick fix or want to plan something larger, we are here to help.

SPH Canvas Template

All SPH courses can integrate the SPH Canvas Template, which is grounded in best practices for course design, and has been tested at the University’s usability lab and refined during the Canvas pilot.

Templates are available via Canvas Commons. For detailed instructions, enroll yourself in the SPH Canvas Orientation and Training and go to the Course Set-Up module to review using the template. Templates are available for online, face-to-face, and continuing education courses.
