Preparedness, Response & Recovery

Part of the Public Health Practice major, this certificate program helps to prepare public health workers and others to respond to incidents of bioterrorism, infectious disease outbreaks, and other emerging public health issues.

The certificate is awarded upon successful completion of a 12-credit  minimum. Most students complete the curriculum by attending at least two Public Health Institute sessions, held in May and June of each year. The curriculum also includes elective courses in health informatics for interested students.

Please consult with the Coordinator, Kate Hanson regarding the status of the PRR certificate.
