Employers in the non-profit sector include research institutes, regulatory agencies, state health departments, aid organizations, and philanthropic groups. Statistical skills are in high demand; starting salaries for our master’s graduates typically range from $65,000 to $80,000.

Recent graduates have been hired at publicly funded research institutions including: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, University of Texas, Stanford University, the Food and Drug Administration, and also at private companies including St. Jude Medical, Eli Lilly, Boston Scientific, Medtronic, Merck, 3M, and Affymetrix.
