Opioid Epidemic Response Lecture

Learn about the Opioid Dashboard, a one-stop shop for opioid-related data and information. Launched by the Minnesota Department of Health in 2017, the Opioid Dashboard serves as a one-stop shop for sharing statewide efforts, what’s working, and data counties and others can use to spot trends, benchmark efforts, and take action. This lecture is presented by Kate Erickson, MSW with the Minnesota Department of Health.

Developments in MN Telemedicine – Lessons From the Field Webinar

Learn about the trends in telemedicine use in Minnesota, types of health care providers delivering telemedicine, differences in telemedicine by source of insurance and for patients in urban versus rural areas of the state. Information shared will be based on research completed at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. The day kicked off with the Gaylord Anderson Memorial Lecture, which featured Dr. David Hemenway who spoke on “What does Public Health have to do with Guns?” Four learning sessions followed, and the day ended with a networking reception at the Campus Club.
