This seminar will cover a medley of topics relevant to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Demmer will discuss a recently initiated research study of asymptomatic infection in health care workers and provide some background about why understanding asymptomatic infection is important. He will additionally discuss the relationship between some commonly used cardiovascular medications and COVID-19 infection. Finally, Dr. Demmer will share some thoughts on the future of testing including different kinds of tests, what they might tell us and when they will become useful.
