EpiCH Event: How do we address the gun epidemic?

December 17, 2019
12:00 pm
- 1:00 pm CST

Event Navigation

  • Division of Biostatistics PhD Presentation with James Normington »

Join your colleagues and Senator Ron Latz for a timely discussion on proposals to address gun-related violence.

Please join the Division of Epidemiology & Community Health in welcoming Senator Latz to discuss what he has proposed about firearm control, how far it went through the legislative process, and how we in public health can support proposed legislation during the 2020 legislative year.

This is part of the division’s strategic plan, Envisioning 2/2/22 to increase our outreach to legislature to increase their knowledge of who we are and the work we do, and the impact necessity of our work.

All faculty, staff, and students welcome!
