We will celebrate the end of the 2018-19 Seminar Series with a special panel of internationally recognized senior faculty who have spent their careers here in EpiCH. These faculty will share with you their career perspectives, reflections, stories, and advice. Their expertise in research, teaching, and mentoring covers a broad array of important public health issues, including social and behavioral health, cancer epidemiology and prevention, obesity treatment and prevention, and cardiovascular disease epidemiology and prevention. This event may be most interesting and helpful for students and junior faculty. Please come with an important question or two so we can all maximize our time listening and learning from these lifelong leaders in epidemiology and community health!

Special note: It is highly recommended to watch in advance the 2007 interview of Dr. Blackburn (link below) (by Dr. Bernie Harlow) in lieu of Dr. Blackburn giving a prepared talk about his career during the panel session. There is also a link below to Dr. Blackburn’s memoirs. He is planning on being present for Q and A on this panel.
