In this webinar, participants will learn about the trends in telemedicine use in Minnesota, types of health care providers delivering telemedicine, differences in telemedicine by source of insurance and for patients in urban versus rural areas of the state. Information shared will be based on research completed at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. Examples of innovative uses of telemedicine that aim to improve access to health care will also be presented by staff from HealthPartners. HealthPartners went live with their telemedicine program 14 months ago and provide nightly coverage to 5 hospitals.
