Welcome to the spring edition of MHA News! Spring in Minnesota is a season of transition. It also has been a time of transition for the MHA program. In my first few months in this role, I’ve been most impressed by the energy, excitement, and engagement of our students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

For the full-time program, springtime brings the anticipation of “real world” experiences through summer residencies and new careers. For the executive program, we welcome a seventh cohort and celebrate a fifth cohort as they complete coursework for graduation. Our Saudi EMHA students continue coursework through face-to-face instruction by faculty as well as online.

One of my primary activities this spring has been to lead a comprehensive curriculum review to ensure that the MHA program is delivering the highest quality educational experience to our full-time and executive students. With strong engagement of faculty and alumni, I am optimistic that this initiative will yield important findings that not only foster innovation in the classroom, but also create new opportunities for alumni engagement and demonstrate leadership in healthcare administration education among our peer institutions.

From the link below, you will see that there is much to celebrate this spring with the achievements of our students and alumni, and the influence the MHA program continues to have nationally and globally.
