MHA Alum Receives 2016 Gold Medal Award

Linda Knodel ’98

Linda Knodel, MHA ‘98, received the 2016 Gold Medal Award from the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) on March 14. The award is ACHE’s highest honor bestowed on outstanding leaders who, through career or service, have made significant contributions to the healthcare profession and field. Knodel, senior vice president and CNO for Mercy in Chesterfield, Mo, was honored for her work to advance the issues facing nursing—at the executive level at Mercy and throughout the industry.  She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s ISP program.
