The MHA Alumni Association is saddened to share the passing of William “Bill” Flaig (MHA ’79). Bill Flaig served as the Douglas County Hospital administrator and CEO for 28 years before retiring in 2011. Flaig earned many awards during his career, including the Distinguished Service Award by Minnesota Hospital Association in 1994 and Outstanding Citizen of the Year by Alexandria Eagles Club in 2002.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. with a rosary at 3:30 p.m. and parish prayers at 4 p.m., Thursday, March 17, at Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria.
